G'Day, Sydney!

Days 31 & 32 - two fantastic days in beautiful (and pricey) Sydney, Australia.  Seriously, Sydney makes New York City look like a bargain.  Other than that, gorgeous people (who seem to do nothing but work out), beautiful scenery and incredible food.

After The Art Gallery of New South Wales (pictures to come...we know you can't wait), we took the ferry to Manly Beach.  On the way, we could see the beautiful skyline of Sydney Harbor including the world famous Opera House. Manly Beach is a surfing mecca.  We had a wonderful lunch and even a saw whale breaching.  It made us dream about living here...then we saw this ad for a "funky beach pad."  If anybody wants to help us come up with downpayment  - just send us a note on the comment section. And, p.s. when we saw the price, we immediately got back on the ferry.

The next day, we took a tour to the Blue Mountain National Park and saw The Three Sisters.

On the way there, we stopped at Featherdale Wildlife Park.  They rehabilitate injured animals and provide a learning center for the community.  It is shocking, but yes, Michael is actually enjoying a tender moment with a kangaroo without thinking about what wine pairing would go best.

The peacock got Michael thinking about dinner.  Back in Sydney, we went to BBQ King on Sussex Street which is known for having the best Peking Duck in Australia.  Plumage be damned!  Ducks win.  Tomorrow, we leave for Ayers Rock.  City two of four during our tour of this amazing country.
