Day 37 - Breaking Barriers

We thought about calling this "Hump Day - Part Two" because this is the halfway point of our incredible adventure.   37 days have passed.  37 more to go.  (Plus travel home) Today, we broke all sorts of barriers.  Including the fact that Michael took his very first scuba lesson and dive in the Great Barrier Reef and also managed to kick three (maybe four) precious coral formations in the process.  Imagine Godzilla going through Tokyo and Nemo finds himself homeless.  For the record, he is incredibly sorry.

Gorgeous Cairns, Australia!  A shot from our boat out to (part of) The Great Barrier Reef.

He did it!!  So proud of Michael doing his very first-ever scuba drive.

This was seriously awesome.  "Check-it-off-the-bucket-list" sort of thing.  Eddie G. - you inspired us.  Ok, I only did snorkeling, but we kept hearing you tell us not to miss out on diving if we could.  THANK YOU!

We had yet another amazing, memorable day on this incredible trip - this time, out on the GBR.  Yesterday, camels.  Today, fish and turtles.  Tomorrow, the rainforest and Michael promises to be WAY more careful.
