Zimbab-wheeeeeee!

We are actually now back in South Africa, but wanted to share what we couldn't post these last few days.  Enjoy!

Thanks to Melissa's broken foot...we got the VIP treatment from South African airways.  Including the ability to board via the catering trolley which dropped us off through the airplane service door.  Where the food enters...not people.

Our first night, we took a "sundowner" on the Zambeze River.  We saw hippos and found out that they are actually the most dangerous animal in the wild.  Who knew?

The next day, we went to Victoria Falls...one of the seven wonders of the natural world. It’s the largest waterfall (based on its width) in the world and is twice the height of Niagara Falls. We were all truly in awe of this natural wonder. (can you see the rainbow in the second shot?)
We celebrated being in Zimbabwe by going to The Bomba...an interactive dinner theatre experience.  We weren't quite sure what to expect, but in the end, we all had a lot of fun.  Melissa and Michael played the drums and Melissa and Annie had their fortunes told (sort of - they were basically the same - all is well).  The warthog was delicious (says Michael).  Melissa was grateful that there were other options.
