New Zealand Highlights
We loved, loved, loved New Zealand. And, the best way to wrap up our way-too-short-trip in Kiwi Country is to say that we can’t wait to come back. Who is coming with us?
How can you resist?
This group of mountains is called “The Remarkables” – and, although we only saw them for a brief moment, it’s easy to understand how they got their name. If you are a Lord of The Rings Fan, this area of New Zealand is where a lot of the movie was shot.
This little piece of land is called St. Anne, so of course it had to make the highlights! It’s the last landmass in Milford Sound before the opening to the Tasman Sea.
Enough said about the rain in Queenstown. We will come back in the summer next time.
Rotorura has a lot of black swans. Is it because they all are covered in volcanic ash?
No human being should be allowed this close to boiling acid…
…or to boiling water…
…or this close to anything that describes how thin the earth’s crust is just a few short feet away from where you are standing…
…or to anything called Devil’s Bath or that is naturally this color green.
However, this mud is really good for your skin. So, it’s got that going for it.
And, geysers do make beautiful rainbows.
Our next destination is Bangkok, Thailand. We’ll be back online with an update from Team SE Asia in a couple of days.
